Flywheel

The Flywheel project was the remodel of an existing building.  Our scope of work included casework, doors, wood frames, and trim.  The casework entailed a variety of multiple elevations and styles.  There was an abundance of in-field assembly required to complete such casework.  The wood door frames were a challenge due to the detail in the wood we were working with.  There were multiple areas where our employees had to do triple miters to correctly install the various sizes of frames.  Much preparation was involved when the frames were being routed to prepare for door hardware. Contour Construction Omaha had to install a wood base and the base shoes along the walls and around columns.  There were several doors that had to be installed with a floor closure and pivot.  There were challenging tasks with this project, but the end result was stunning.
